Viper Recordings are predominantly a drum and bass outfit but of course, music expands into different genres, as does bass. Newcomer onto their books is Californian dubstep producer Seven Lions and the roars that emit from this debut EP titled ‘Polarize’ are sensational. With elements of trance, electro and dubstep all craftily mingled the finished result can only be described as, “The Bomb!”.

This young lad is getting everywhere at the minute. First he brings us Electro like nothing else, adding some Dubstep depth and choppy Glitchiness, then he goes over and alters Rock music as we know it crossing over genres like no-one before and now he has ventured down the classic House music route and brings us a new level of it alongside the legend that is Kaskade. It’s another Skrillex piece.

A debut coming from Melbourne, Australia and the production duo known as Your Ol’ Lady. Their first EP with Dga Fau Records fits in nicely with the label’s house style which experience tells me is simply, Electronic Filth. The release titled ‘Heads In’ ticks the right boxes for them and is very likely to tick the right boxes for EDM lovers who like it a bit of rough.

Sometimes there is nothing better than a good old filthy Electro tune, and then other times there is nothing better than a French Electro tune. Here we have both. This filthy French Electro tune comes from The Killer Rabbits of Dga Fau Records and tweaked and further bleeped by LA producer Monolith who adds a further touch of oomph to the release.
